FSI was engaged by a mid-sized law firm to provide Cybersecurity and Incident Response Services to a major Massachusetts healthcare company.
The administrative staff of hospital operations were victimized by an eMail phishing campaign and computer malware attack on the company’s IT infrastructure.
FSI investigated the incident, analyzed the malware attack vectors, reviewed the company’s IT Security architecture and independently evaluated the organization’s incident response.
In the end, there was no breach of the IT Security Controls recently implemented by the company and no loss of Protected Health Information (PHI).
Nevertheless, FSI proposed new Incident Response protocols and procedures directed at improving the organization’s response to future Cybersecurity threats.
