September 5, 2012 – FSI Principal John H. Crawford, Jr., an expert on Patent Damages under the United States Code, Title 35, Section 284, recently assisted a Connecticut-based manufacturing company to receive a $4.3 Million damages award for patent infringement.  This amount was offered by the infringing party to settle the case on the eve of trial in order to avoid a jury verdict, and the settlement amount included cash components for both Lost Profits and Reasonable Royalties.
